Q:Just wondering.. if your films aren't making you any profit, how do you have the money to continue filming? surely you need money for indirectly related expenses of filming (travelling, gas, etc).. do you have a job? and if so.. how do you find the time to film and work? you seem like you got a lot on your plate! pretty admirable
Sorry for the long answer.
It all depends on what we’re shooting. Right now 3 Audrey is my priority. It’s easy to get to London because a lot of my friends are already there, people here always want to go and have a good time.
I don’t have a regular job. I haven’t touched my bank account since August. I work on/direct music videos sometimes if I need a quick boost for a project. Otherwise my family helps me out.
Once you have all the equipment necessary, it’s not very expensive to shoot. Other than filmmaking, my money goes towards partyin’ and food. I don’t go to concerts/vacations/have a car/blah blah blah. I eat really bad food, drink with my friends and shoot stuff.
I want to earn my way into the city. I don’t want to move there and work my ass off at an irrelevant place. People will hate on that but this is how I want to learn and progress in filmmaking and that choice is mine to make. I’m not that lazy. I’m working on different cuts every day of the week. I shot 10,000 clips on my 5D in less than 6 months and you bet I’m proud of that. /rantover. Sorry if I sound stupid. I don’t know anything.
Thanks for asking.
